The Silvio Pellico Room, intense and embracing

T

his room, which takes its name from its illustrious guest, features majestic boxed ceilings in national walnut.

It was in this room that Silvio Pellico on his return from the Spielberg, took up residence and found the inspiration for the first chapters of "Le mie prigioni" [my prisons].

The emblem of the Solaro family is painted on some of the ceiling boxes, it is a blunt arrow wrapped with a ribbon with gothic writing: "Tiel fiert qui ne tue pas", the meaning of the motto is not really clear, it is assumed that it refers to an enigma of an amorous nature.

To spend a day in a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can let yourself be seduced by the vibrations that only a room steeped in history can transmit.

Maximum seating capacity: 150 people
